The Governance Committee’s responsibility is to create the structure and provide strategic leadership to fulfill the Purple Flag Excellence in Dementia Care™ program mission and ensure the outcomes defined in the Cornerstone Philosophy.
The Governance Committee consists of experts who have demonstrated experience, skill and knowledge in each area of care Purple Flag accredits and possess an understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices. Specific committee members include the CALA President, CALA Representatives, staff professionals and elected individuals with backgrounds in Case Management, Nursing, Social Work and the overall field of aging services.
